I missed out on selection even when I was in the nets for over 8 hours a week.

Way back, when I was 16, I failed to get into the Welsh cricket team.

I was an OK player, and trained for hours in the nets but one reason they gave me why I didn’t get into the team has stuck with me to this day.

I wasn’t strong enough.

Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t strong enough, but my main problem was how do I get stronger? And do I need to do anything different for it to help my Cricket?

So, to try and help my cricket I joined a couple of friends at the local gym to try and work this out for myself.

And looking back on it, I got it very very wrong.

But I was hooked, and for the next 15 years I bounced about trying different training methods, going to different gyms on this wild journey of trying to get stronger.

Even to the point where I wanted to train more than actually play cricket, the thing I was training for…

And the results? It worked. I got stronger and fitter than I ever thought I could have. Especially from a point where I was too weak to play cricket.

Although I got what I needed, it took me a good 10 years to do so and youth systems weren’t accepting any 26 years olds.

So how could I use all these mistakes I made to help people exactly like 16 year old me?

    This program is purely focused on getting you strong. Getting strong is your base to becoming a powerful cricket player and this program will guide you to get there.

  • conditioning PROGRAM

    This program is purely focused on getting you fit, you'll be spending a lot of time running and on ergs working towards your goal.

  • Bodyweight PRogram

    If you don't have access to any equipment or are just starting out on your strength and conditioning journey, this is a great place to start. Bodyweight plans are sometimes seen as easy but we incorporate techniques to give you a tough challenge

  • in season program

    We reduce the volume of your training during the season as you'll be training in between games. Most of our training will be based on your strength and power due to you getting your conditioning stimulus from your game.

  • LOOK GOOD, PLAY GOOD

    A hypertrophy program aimed at gaining as much muscle as possible. Each week will be 4 gym sessions and 1 conditioning session

  • off season program

    In the off-season we mainly focus on getting stronger and becoming more powerful. We go through a 5 week block focusing purely on strength and then 5 weeks introducing our speed-based movements to develop your power.

  • PRESEASON PROGRAM

    In your preseason we introduce more conditioning to bring your fitness levels up as the cricket season approaches. We still keep your power sessions in to keep progressing our work from the off-season.
